I started the horizontal stabilizer today. The plans call for edging and shaping the reinforcement bars to the aft HS spar. Using the 4x6 sander I edged the bars and rounded the ends of each bar (no photo.) The plans call for using a scotch brite to "finish" the bars to a satin finish. If you look at photo 3 you can see the finish. I will try to remember to take a picture before I prime the parts. After finishing the bars I clecoed everything together and drilled to match all the holes.. The bearing hangers were clecoed in place and all holes were matched drilled including the bearing shown in photo three. The aft spar is ready for disassemble, deburring, edging and priming.
