This morning when I got to the hanger I wanted to double check the stiffners and skins to ensure I had cleaned all the edges. I found a few stiffners that needed extra work. After spending a little time at the sander I clecoed thee stiffners to the rudder skins and drilled the holes to match. That was followed by setting the dimples in the rudder skins and the stiffners for the flush rivets. After finishing the dimples I spent the next hour or so going back over the stiffners and double checking the edges and the deburring on all holes. Then each stiffner was sanded and cleaned for priming. While the stiffners dried, I got the inside of the rudder skins ready for priming. Once everything was ready I primered all the parts together After waiting for them to dry (it was a rainy day) I clecoed everything together to check the fit one last time.
