Brief Description:  Continued work on the VS

I have been on a business trip for the last few weeks and got home yesterday. While I was gone the parts that I had to order from Van's arrived. The forward VS spar and one part from the HS needed to be replaced. I removed the old forward spar, clecoed the new one in place and drilled it to match. After checking all was okay I clecoed the VS skin in place (picture one) and drilled all holes to match. The next step was to break everything down and dimple. de-burr, counter sink and radius the edges of all the parts. After taking the skin off I decided to drill the two lower holes to match the drawing on page 27A. These holes are used later when the empennage is attached to the fuselage.
