Brief Description:  Working out the final kinks in the shop

After finding the drill press a whopping 74" tall when on the 33" bench, I decided to make a smaller bench just for the drill press. So today I made a 24"X24"X24" work bench just for the drill press. Its patterned off the EAA workbenches, just scaled down. I placed it next to the bench the drill press was on and after moving the drill press discovered the open space is a great place for working stock while using the drill press. Then I made a long extension cord with a four outlet box to use where the electrical tools are located. The hanger only has two outlets, so I have to run power where I need it. I won't be using all the power tools at the same time, so I won't be over loading the circuit. It would be nice fo have a few more circuits, but it is a T-hanger designed for storing airplanes. When that was done I needed to run down a slow leak in the air compressor lines. As I started to disconnect the lines I found a crack brass fitting. My lucky day, it was the second fitting I started to disconnect. Fortunately, I had another so the whole job took about 15 minutes. Maybe now I can work on building something like the toolbox kit I purchased.
