Brief Description: Closing in on the inspection date
Finishing the condition inspection, Ran the aircraft up and warmed it for a compression check. Considering this is a mid-time engine that was pickled and brought back to life. The cylinders in order were 72/80, 70/80, 69/80 and 68/80. This was the first run uip that brought the engine close to normal temperature. The oil only got to 107 degrees, but warm enough for a ground run. I believe those pressures will come up slightly when I can get the airplane airborne.
Tomorrow will be some final adjustments to the cowling and the annual condition inspection will be done.
