Brief Description:  Cabin heat controls

I decided on a location for the cabin heat control. I did not want to add it to the instrument panel and it needed to be close to my wife. So I fabricated an angle out of 0.050" and attached it to the side of the aircraft just forward of the center section. As you can see in the images it will be riveted to the angle running forward as well as the skin, requiring a small spacer (you can see the spacer in image 2.) To keep the cable away from the passenger as much as possible I drilled a passthrough thru the forward rib (you can see that as well in image 2.)

The cable will be routed through the passthrough around and behind the passenger pedals to the heater control arm on the firewall. The Adel clamp on the right side of image three will hold the cable cover in place so the inner cable can slide easily. You can see the attaching point to the left of the heater control.
