I added the Skybolt fasteners on the bottom cowling on both sides of the exhaust exit. I install three on the left with the center fastener a little closer to the exhaust opening for added support in that area. On the right side I installed two fasteners. The center flange will be pressed into other duty.
If you look at image two you can see the drain valve for the gascolator just above and to the outside of the center Skybolt flange. I am going to cut the cowling under that flange and extend the valve down to the cowling. That way I will be able to check the fuel without removing the cowling.
