Spent this morning deciding on the locations to mount the remaining electronic gear. I have a ARINC module, a remote transponder, a remote VHF radio and an ADSB module. The sub-panel is just about full with room for the ARINC but nothing else.
So the transponder, VHF radio and ADSB module need a home. I could mount them aft of the baggage compartment but I have a friend that went that way and he has aft CG issues. So what makes the most sense is to build an avionics shelf forward of the sub-panel. There is plenty of room and I plan on installing a hinge so it can drop down for maintenance. Time to draw it up and get it in place.
