The fuel flows from the gascolator on the left side of the firewall to the mechanical fuel pump to the fuel flow transducer and then to the carb. The transducer measures fuel flow to the 0.1 of gallon and feeds that data to the flight computer. It almost eliminates the need for fuel tank gauges.
