Brief Description:  Pitot tube and lower skin

I had two friends come over last week to look at my plane for mistakes and missing work. They climbed around and over it for two hours. One of the items that they found was my VOR coax cable was rubbing on the flight controls. Today I re-routed it and added an Adel clamp to make sure it was out of the way.

I mounted the Pitot tube and pressure checked the pitot and AOA lines running from the pitot tube to the wing root. I wanted to make sure the connections were tight before putting the skin on. That checked okay.

I got out my torque wrench and torqued the flight controls at the bell crank. The only nut NOT tight is the jam nut on the push/pull tube leading to the cabin. I will need to make some adjustments when the wings go back on.

Then the wing skin went on for, I hope, the last time. It is ready to rivet.
