1. Sat in the aircraft and tested the location of the air vent. Plenty of clearance for the person sitting in that seat as well as room for the headset jacks.
2. Adel clamps arrived so I installed the conduit on the firewall for wire runs. Needed to fabricate a clamp holder out of scrape and attach a nutplate. Then drilled and riveted it to the firewall.
3. Created a wire passthrough for the network cable. Ran the cable through and determined length for the run. Next is to cut it to length and add DB-9 connector.
4. Started on second air vent.
Plus I vaccumed all the metal shavings in the aircraft. I try to do this every day or so just to keep ahead of the cleanup.
