Yesterday was a short day due to a retirement party I attended, so I cleaned the hangar. The floor was covered with metal shavings, hate working in a messy shop.
Today I torqued all the bolts for the roll bar, riveted the F-732A support channel and installed the canopy guides on the front. I removed and replaced six rivets on the glare sheild of the panel and painted it flat black. Once the canopy is on it will be very difficult to paint that area. And I started putting on connectors and finalizing the autopilot wiring terminal block.
Last, I decided to switch from Dynon to Advanced Flight Systems for my EFIS and EMS system. They are a subsidary of Dynon, so all of the installed Dynon equipment is supported. I won't lose any investment, but I will gain a better screen system.
