Only a couple hours available today. I focused on the new tail fairing. I had marked a location for trimming on the forward portion covering the vertical stab. You can see the mark on image one. The fairing was about an 1/8" or so from sliding up against the forward edge of the horizontal stab. So I trimmed about 1/4" so the whole fairing would slide back. You can see that worked well on the left side of the tail section. Image two shows the fit on the horizontal and image three shows the fit on the left side of the vertical. There is a slight bulge about three inches back from the forward edge of the vertical. If you sight down the top edge of the fairing you can see it. There is a screw hole near there and if I press on the hole location this tightens up against the vertical stab.
