Brief Description:  Weekend update

Finished the lower rudder fairing. The aft light mount is completed, the final solution was to bury the nuts in an epoxy and microballon slurry. I greased the screw threads as a release and then cleaned them afterward. The clamps you see in the photos are holding the aluminum strips on the inside after they were epoxied in place. Added for additional strength when I rivet the fairing in place. The light needs connectors attached and this thing is done. After riveting the lower fairing I believe the tail section is done.

Dynon recalled their heated pitot tubes. The image three shows the new one in the mount. I had not riveted the lower skin awaiting for this to show up. I need to drill and tap the four locations for the mounting screws. When this is competed I can close up both wings.

Moving forward with avionics I am working with UpNorthAviation to design and cut my panel. I provided the data, locations of equipment and switches and they do the design work. I can make as many changes as I want, then they will laser cut the panel.
