Brief Description:  More empennage work - 01

Worked on the lower rudder fairing. Two issues to address; the location for the wire pass through and the aft position / strobe light mount. First the wire pass through. I looked at several solutions online and decided my solution would be best for my install. The issue is the wire coming through the aft bulkhead and going to the aft of the rudder. A straight wire through two holes will eventually break due to the constant bending as the rudder moves back and forth. I decided on cutting a slot that allows the wire to stay in one place as the rudder moves back and forth. You can see the wire in image 2 and 3 as the rudder is deflected fully to the left. I have covered the wire bundle in some pretty heavy wire antichaff material to protect it from chaffing.
