Brief Description:  Mounting the tail

With the tail fiberglass work about 90% completed I decided to start reassemblying the tail section. It is my birthday so I only spent a couple of hours in the hangar. Started with the horizontal stabilizer and torqued those eight bolts and then mounted the vertical stabilizer. It has nine bolts to torque, so I got those done. I am a little concerned about the tightness of the wiring pass through for the aft strobe and position lights. That will take some work and I will need to resolve this before attaching the rudder.

The pin holes in the left elevator were not completely filled by yesterday's attempt. So I forced some more epoxy into them this afternoon. Hopefully this will be done tomorrow. If so I will mount the elevators.
