I need to partially close the horizontal stabilizer tips. I have read many different techniques, this is my technique and its test. I had already glued a foam block inside the tip as a block and release for the fiberglass. I layed up two layers on the inside of the foam block (see image 2.) After that set for about an hour I dug out the foam. This leaves me a small indentation to fill with a slurry of flox and/or microballoons. Ultimately I want a slight concave surface to provide clearance for the elevator arm. In image 3 you can see the tip clecoed in place. I clecoed it on the HS before it completely cured to ensure the tip stays the correct size.
