Trying to tie up several small tasks before mounting the engine mount. The weather has humid or raining, not conducive for fiberglass work. But I have lots of fiberglass work to complete. I just have to get started and work on what I can. Today I continued working on the HS tips, Both required very little work, mostly sanding although I did mix a small amount of micro slurry to fill a few small areas.
After applying the slurry I moved to the front of the aircraft and continued to work on the gascolator. I orderd it early to double check its mount and I will delete it from the Firewall Forward kit when I order it. Once this is finished I will mount the engine mount and drill the firewall.
