Worked on several tasks over the last week. I have not been updating my build log so here in order:
1. Installed roll bar and torqued all bolts 2. Installed the support from the roll bar to the F-706 bullkhead and riveted it in place. There are four rivets on the top I still need to finsih, but it will require two folks to get done. Next weekend the wife has agreed to come to the hangar. 3. Removed the rudder so I could drill the wire access hole in the vertical stabilizer. You can see the hole in image one. This photo was taken after I removed the vertical stabilizer. 4. Removed the rest of the tail section for two reasons. It is easier to run the wiring with the tail removed and I need to complete the horizontal stab. service bulletin.
