The canopy and canopy frame are finally ready for mounting the canopy. Today I worked on the canopy skirts to get them ready. I back drilled the skirts to the frame, deburred, dimpled and countersunk all the appropriate parts. The skirts come from the factory wider than necessary, so I marked them using the frame as a reference and trimmed them down to size.
With the skirts ready, all the components to mount the canopy with Sikaflex are now done. Before that process is started there are a few other tasks that need to be completed first. Primarily the subpanel needs to be riveted in place and there are a few systems that should be completed before riveting the subpanel back in place.
