Worked on the canopy again today. I continued to shape the curve that starts at the ears and moves up and over to the top fueslage skin. I am as far along as I believe I can go at this stage. There is a slight opening, approximately 1/16" to 3/32" on the right side at the top of the curve. Gentle pressure moves it down to the skin.
I am pretty sure the canopy frame will shift again when I finish riveting it. So I am calling the forward canopy fitting process complete. I will start finishing the canopy frame, including its riveting next. I will re-address the canopy fit when that is completed.
