Brief Description:  More canopy and canopy frame work

Pulled the canopy for more trimming this morning. It is slowly setting down on the forward fuselage skin. After taking about 1/16th off of four areas I needed to wait for my wife to help moving it back on the aircraft. It is just flimsy enough I don't want to try moving it by myself.

So while I waited I started fabricating the canopy strut attaching points. It always takes longer than you think it will. Anyway those are ready except for finish. I was going to paint them, but I think I will just polish them similar to the canopy latch.

My wife helped me move the canopy back over to the aircraft. The left (pilot) side fits very well. It is within 1/16th, or touching the skin, from the ears to the center of the forward edge of the canopy. The right (co-pilot) side is still setting much higher. Although the fit is much better than yesterday, we pulled the canopy back off for more work. I am begining to believe this canopy will never be done.
