I made one more cut today on the forward edge. I wanted to get greater symmetry on the front edge. After cutting and sanding we placed it back on the aircraft for another measurement. There are three gaps along the forward edge. The greatest is just right of center (the passenger side) where it is 1/16" maybe 3/32". I can light push down on the canopy and it makes contact with the forward skin. I believe I am stopping here until after the Big Cut. It is going to move after I cut the canopy in half.
