I took the template I had made from the plans, took it apart and marked the openings and rivet holes on the fuselage yesterday. After sleeping on the idea of cutting holes in the fuselage skin I went out to finish the install. First I drill 1/8" holes near the corners and then opened them to 3/16". Using a dremel tool I cut out the largest portion I felt comfortable with a thin cutting disc. Afterward I wished I had cut a little closer to the line, it would have reduced the time I spent filing.
