Pulled everything apart and deburred, sanded and touched up some primer. By the end of the day I clecoed everything back together and re-installed the structure in the aircraft. Doubled checked the release mechanism to ensure it works properly, now is the time to get it right. Clecoed the front skin on and checked alignment of everything. Everything seems okay.
In between priming, clecoing and installing I worked on the canopy frame. The plans have to check the aft top ribs of the frame to ensure the flanges are 90 degrees. That took a little time filing and sanding to clean up a few areas, but for the most part it was okay. Clecoed the skin on and checked the alignment. Tomorrow I will drill the skin to the frame.
