Brief Description:  More systems work

My buddy Doug flew his RV-6 up for an afternoon of RV-7 building. Doug has been working on airplanes for many years and trained as a component repairman before going to flight school. Image one is Doug and me flying an aircraft home from the middle east. Nothing like flying a non-pressurized twin over the Atlantic.

Doug and I worked on checking the rigging on the ailerons and the flaps. Now the stick position is in the correct location and the ailerons are in the same trail position. The flaps have been set to trail in alignment with the ailerons. There will be some adjustment during flight test.

Doug fabricated the fuel vent lines while I dealt with some rivet issues, got the flaps mounted for the work mentioned above and started the dimpling process for the aft top skins. It does not sound like much but the three hours Doug worked is three hours of work I do not have to complete. Thanks Doug.

Of course, we needed to celebrate the completed work by taking a spin in Doug's RV-6. A very nice end to the day.
