More electrical decisions. Actually, this one seems like it would be simple....I need to run four wires to the rudder for lighting. Three wires encased in shielding for the strobe light and one wire for the position light. All together a hole about 7/16" will be large enough to handle all the wiring with room for some kind of edge protection; like a snap bushing.
Where to drill....Well the best place for proxmity to the lights is under the rudder attaching point (white stuff in the photo) Probably centered under the rivet and above the lower bolt. Second option is in the center of the lightening hole just above the attachment. And the third option is two separate holes left and right of the spar.
I am going to ask Vans to see if they have an opinion.
