Brief Description:  Ailerons brackets - 01

After two weeks away for work I got back at it. Today was more work on the aileron bracket assemblies. They were already primed and clecoed together last time I worked on the aircraft. Today was a process of drilling to size, counter-sinking for a few flush rivets, deburring and riveting. The work went fairly fast, especially working with the rivet squeezer. Once adjusted that thing sets great rivets. Check out photo two for some nice rivets. Okay, enought bragging.

After completing their assembly I need to get them in place on the wing aft spar, drill to size and get ready for riveting. I found a little custom work needed to be completed before the fit was what I wanted. A little buffer work was all it needed to fit along the curve on the back of the aft spar. If you look at photo three at the cleco with primer on it you can see the bevel.
