As I have Quick Build wings, the process of finishing the wings should not take too long. However, I discovered the first thing I need to accomplish is deciding exactly what wiring I will need to run in each wing (gauge, etc) and how I will protect that wiring (some kind of conduit.) All of which is driven by the decision of what specific equipment will be installed in the wings. So far I have decided"
1. LED Nav lights (from Killacycle) 2. Strobes (from Strobes and More) 3. Wigwam lights in the wingtips (from Vans) 4. Duckworth leading edge landing lights 5. Heated pitot tube (left) 6. Autopilot servo (right) 7. Fuel level sensors (both)
So I need to sit down with each installation manual, determine the wiring requirements and order the correct gauge, color, length, connectors, etc for each device. Better planning now will make the process faster in the long run. I did take time to get a few items ready for priming as you can see in image one and two.
