Back to the flaps. I attached the rubber cloth to the flap hole seal brackets with contact cement, primed the parts, then installed them in the fuselage flap wells. I had already match-drilled screw holes through the fuselage skin and dimpled them. Before mounting the brackets, I cycled the flaps several times to see that path the actuator arm rods take in the hole space: I then cut that same path into the rubber cloth, then mounted the brackets and reconnected the actuator arms to the flaps.
