Brief Description: Installing elevator trim tab and other work
Spent some time installing the elevator time tab on the elevator. Installation went well and the tab moves freeling with the trim tab horn nicely aligned with the trim servo motor which I will install later. Also riveted permanently the ribs on the lower side of the aileron (ie. leaving one side open for the inspection) so that it makes the elevator easier to work with as it can lay flat.
Also completed the cleco installation of the elevator horn and internal supports. Feels very strong when all cleco'd together but feels too light when you look at each part individually. Also worked on the strap piece that further binds the elevator horn structure together. This piece is ultimately riveted with stainless steel rivets as it requires more strength.
