On the kit the pilot and co-pilot seats have no back and rather an access hole to the rear fuselage psumably for maintenance however there is an under fuselage access hatch. I used two pieces of the original pack crate and fashioned two seat backs which are held in place by two hook shaped pieces of aluminium. Cut outs were made in the seat back to allow for the canopy locking mechanism to opate without obstruction.
