Brief Description: Practice canopy fairing lay ups
I went to AMT and purchased all the required kit to do the fibreglass fairings on the canopy whch included fibreglass uni diretional tape, resin, hardener, microbaloons, flox and various other bits and pieces.
I tried several lay ups and all seemed ot go pretty well but the curing time I experienced versus that in the instructions seemed quite far off. The tape hardened quite well but I am still having issues with the flox resin mix and will probably have to call their offices in the new year.
