Brief Description:  Rear Canopy Hoop Final Bends

After an inordinate amount of time spent attempting to get the two hoops to mirror each other's compound curve I have finally suceed. The tolerances on the bend look to be a couple of mms but we will see only when the rear portion of the canopy is installed.

Any deviation between the two canopies in terms of height will be covered by a gap strip and be sealed with a rubber canopy seal. The seal should remove any minor (mms) deviations.

It still remains to be seen as to whether the rear canopy will still work with a section cut out of it due to the crack. At the moment it looks probable that it will work with additional aluminum flashing.

Note: Although this entry is booked into one day it probably represents about 20 frustrating hours of bending and rebending the rear canopy frame to mirror the forward canopy frame.
