Well, the instrumentation has largely been purchased short of an ASI and Altimeter. I am also still awaiting the AirGizmo iPod Classic docking station from the States. I took a visit to Bundu Aviation today to run over the instrument panel and necessary work:
- Build in annuciator lights to the panel; - Find out docking station measurements; - Investigate LCD screen slave of MGL Voyager; - Order Hobbs and Flap indicator; - Order Circuit Breakers and Switches.
The plate steel instrument panel will be made 1 cm wider on each end due to a misfit between the 650 canopy upgrade and the XL forward cowling. Bundu Aviation will quote and wire the panel. Later on I will visit Bundu to do a sort of builder assist on the fuse and wing wiring in order that I learn how to wire the aircraft as opposed to just outsourcing.
