After ruining one firewall by drilling the firewall holes 1 cm off their required location I had to reorder around firewall from ZAC (at great expense as the shipping was more than the cost of the item).
Anyway after following the correct dimensions specified in the plans the firewall construction was relatively straight forward assisted by the predrilled holes ensuring correct alignment. Guy Hubbard came round to assist with constructing the firewall. When the completed firewall was temporarily clamped onto the cabin floor you start to get a feel for what the aircraft will look like.
