I'm rolling to night shift tonight and I couldn't sleep today so...what else to do but work on the plane? I finally got all the parts prepped. I set up a AlumiPrep bath with two rinse bins then did the same thing with an alodine bath with three rinses. Then I shot primer on everything. I bought a cheap paint gun from harbor freight a few months ago. I wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be a perfect gun...it had plenty of adjustments to get the spray just so. The Akzo Nobel primer I'm using it easy to work with and dried quickly.
