Brief Description: HS Front and Rear Spar
|

My first day of REAL building. Jacod (the instructor) is extremely knowledgeable. He made sure to take time with each of us when we needed it and he also gathered us around to explain basic concepts and proceedures when required as well. Drilled center hinge brackets with hinge bearing, drilled rear spar with reinforcement bar and hinge brackets, drilled angles with front spar, flutted ribs, drilled remaining ribs with front and rear spar, cleck skins left and right to frame, drilled skins and frame, match drilled rear spar through center main ribs, deburred, scuffed, dimpled and countersunk horizontal parts. By the end of the day we had the front and rear spar clecoed up with the ribs. Jacod told us that we were the worst bunch of sissy girls that he'd ever seen, so we had better study the plans for tomorrow, put ourselves to bed and get ready for some pain tomorrow. I told him to bring it on!
