Brief Description:  Fuel Tank Pressure Test

Went back and pressure checked the fuel tank. Used the test kit that Vans sells which consists of a valve that will screw into the drain port and a fitting to close off the fuel pickup outlet. I used fuellube instead of sealant on all the screw threads and the inspection cover. I pumped up the tank until the baloon started to fill up, then I srayed everything down with soapy water. The only bubbles were around the balloon and the refuel cap (which Van's says to ignore). I'm going to watch it for the next couple of days, I figure if the leaks around the balloon and the cap aren't enough to drain the pressure enough to collaps the balloon the sum of any other leaks can't be enough to leak fuel. By the way, the balloons I'm using are the tiny ones that clowns use to make little animals, and I couldn't produce enough pressure to blow one up by myself. I'm not sure how much pressure that takes but it's more than I can produce without blowing out a vein in my forehead.
