Brief Description:  Fuel Tank Work

Drilled the fuel drain fitting. Drilled the fuel vent line hole in the inboard rib. Drilled the fuel pickup hole for the flop tubes. Fabricated and installed the holdback flap on the second tank rib. Installed the bung on the outboard rib for the extended range fuel tank hookup. The flap and the flop tubes are totally aerobatic mods. The flop tubes will "flop" to the same place the fuel is in the tank...if I'm flying inverted the pickup tube will be wet at all times. The flap is in the second-to-most inboard rib. It keeps all the fuel from flowing outboard in abrupt maneuvers like spins or aileron rolls...but flops open to allow fuel to flow inboard during level flight.
