Finally got the canopy just right after a couple of hours of final trimming. I double checked all the edges to make sure there were not rough spots...there were. Got everying sanded down well then put it back on the frame. Drilled all the holes in the forward canopy with a 1/8 plexi bit after locating all the holes in the roll bar and side rails with a #40 bit. Worked well...no cracks. I left out the fowrard most hole on the plans. There appeard to just be too much pressure in this area for me...it felt like an eventual crack to me. I extended the hold distance a bit to make up a little difference.
