I walked away from it the other day trying to figure out how to get a better fit. The directions were no help, looked online and got a few ideas. The first thing I did was to trip the gap seal flange and, bam, it fit much better. The sides came together with a couple of straps and I was ready to drill. I put a .020 spacer and the entire gap came out pretty uniform all the way across. We'll see what happens when I take the straps off, debur everything and put it back together.
