I followed in instructions and riveted the forward deck all together. The problem with that is that now I couldn't follow the directions to drill the holes in order for the canopy hinges. Either this is an error in the directions or I misimterpreted the directions. Either way, I got it done by drilling the holes out of order. The only problem was drilling the 1/4 in hold in the forward section. Since I'm not installing the canopy release mechanism, I don't think this alignment is do critica as long as it rotates freely to open and close the canopy. We'll find out if I have to adjust this as I build out the canopy.
