Tonight I drilled and loose fit the hardware I ordered a new torque wrench to get the nuts torqued properly, but before starting I double checked my fuselage alignment. I used some angle stock set on some side grip clecos. I leveled that and attached my string to the angle. Then it was a matter of using my centering ruler (highly useful I have found) to ensure the string is in the center of the tail cone. I also sanded the top of the belly seam as I want taking a suggestion some have added a layer of BDM glass over the seam. There is a weight penalty, but the extra strength will be worth it in my opinion.
