I unhooked the electric trim and operated my trim tab and did not like its operation. I picked up some great idesa from Mike Cencula on piano hinge and need to apply that to my trim tab, and get it working smoothly. I drilled out the trim tab rivets tonight and I cut to length the .025 training edge doublers put inside the training edge skin. It is something Glasair has been doing in the two week to taxi program to keep the wave out of trailing edge joggles.
