Worked on final drilling of rudder skin etc. Disassemble and dimple parts. Pounded out stiffener problem where didn't notice that rivet backing plate had run out so hit the rivet with nothing behind it creating a bulge and seam. Talked with Alliance in El Cajon. Got some good advice about primer etc. Decided to prepare pieces for painting as I go. Need to paint the entire plane once it is put together though. Choose primer based on which paint I will use. Will probably go with an off-white as it covers the best.Pieces for assembly have been acid washed and are ready for primer. I finally know how to prime. Important to have the right nozzle and dilute the epoxy primer way down.
