I continue to work on the fiberglass tips. I finished dimpling and countersinking the elevator tips and finished with the pop rivets. I guess they don't need any kind of backing or it would have mentioned someplace. Worst case is they come off and have to be reapplied. Not a critical component. I also finished the rudder tips. I began installing the VS tip. That isn't too difficult except that it needed to be trimmed and then the end filled in. I am working on filling it with an aluminum plug glued and riveted in place.
