Brief Description:  Rework Trim Tab Hinge

When I tried to put the trim tab hinge pin in, it wouldn't go without a lot of effort as the hinge surfaces didn't meet well enough. I measured all the surfaces and they seemed straight themselves. I had lined up the trim tab surfaces and then installed them separetely. I decided to drill out the trailing edge of the elevetor, replace that hinge and drill it back in while the hinge pin was in place connecting it to the trim tab hinge that was still riveted in place. That worked great. The hinge pin goes in with normal friction and the movement is restriction free. The last bend of the hinge pin broke off when I tried to bend it to fit the plans to safety wire it to the elevator. I will try to use a piece of hinge to secure the pin. If I don't like that, I will have to either order a new hinge or look for the welding rob as mentioned on the forum. I also began work on the trim servo installation but only worked on the concept so far.
