Decided to build a shelf for the upcoming instrument panel work. Used the wood I cut last year to create the panel mock-up. Clamps hold the shelf in place under the panel, and at the door beams.
Also cut some wood blocks with slits in them to vertically hold the panel covers while I work behind them (image 2). They are held down with a single screw so they can be swung into suitable positions.
