Brief Description:  right side torque tube

I completely understand why you have to remove the wings to get the torque tubes set up: there's simply not enough clearance to install BOTH of them from inside the fuselage. You can do one at a time, but not both. No matter, both are now cut, but can still be trimmed if need be. Image 3 shows the hangar attached with 6 AN3 bolts. Manual stipulates rivets here, but all agree bolts here make maintenance easier. There have some instances of the wind whipping the ailerons to their stops and bending the hanger and the bracket. Just a lot easier to undo a bolt than drill out a rivet. The final rivetting of the interior caps will have to wait for when the ailerons are skinned, attached, and I'm ready to final-adjust the entire TT mechanism. A few years away, I'm sure.
